The TEST: OVERCOMING the world!

LESSON I

Think of each generation of human beings as another entering class in a university. There are a rigorous training program and many difficult lessons ahead. There are many pop quizzes and grueling examinations along the way. The PURPOSE is to become enlightened and GRADUATE and to become qualified for a new (higher) level of existence.

Life is a TEST which we either PASS or FAIL. God has equipped us and will HELP us to PASS the TEST of our earthly life, so that we can join all the other, past and future, GRADUATES who will form the complete GRADUATING CLASS of OVERCOMERS - God's children and a NEW, SPIRITUAL HUMANITY.

Jesus the Christ was the FIRST role model of this SPIRITUAL RACE which God DESIGNED from the beginning - before SIN intervened. Our earthly life (beyond Adam and Eve) is a SECOND CHANCE!

The "ruler of this world" is Satan and this (his) world is filled with temptations which we MUST learn to OVERCOME. In order to overcome the temptations of the Devil and our sinful nature ('Abominable SELF'), we MUST be BORN AGAIN from ABOVE - God's INTERVENTION of GRACE!

When we are BORN AGAIN from ABOVE, we become empowered to OVERCOME the world, our 'Abominable SELF' and the temptations of Satan.

Jesus the Christ said:

"I have overcome the world"

How do we get there?

"For whatever is born of God
overcomes the world.
And this is the victory
that has overcome the world—
our faith {in Christ}"
