ObamaRahm-a a Columbia Man

Shadows over Columbia

On November 5, 2008, I and other alumni of Columbia University received an e-mail from Mr. Bollinger, the President of Columbia University, announcing and taking pride in ObamaRahm-a's status as a graduate of Columbia (Columbia College, Class of 1983). Here is a copy of my e-mail reply to Mr. Bollinger:

Dear Mr. Bollinger,

I, for one, am not particularly impressed with President-elect Obama. It is already clear that he will stack his Administration and the Federal Gov't with Zionists - like Rep. Rahm Emanuel, who is a fanatical pro-Israel warmonger from the infamous Irgun Israeli terrorist family, as you might (and should) know. Frankly, I am disheartened (to put it mildly) with the mindless pro-Zionist stance that you personally and Columbia have taken. I believe that Columbia has become a hotbed of irrational Zionism and that is very upsetting to graduates like me and to Neturei Karta True Torah Jews, who are staunch anti-Zionists for very good reasons.

Just because Zionist Columbia alumni contribute heavily to Columbia, does not mandate that Columbia should adopt the mindless and unquestioning support of Zionists, their causes and support of Israel. Are you not aware that Israel and Israeli-American Zionists are responsible, along with their agents in various American institutions, for the cowardly and criminal attack on the NYC World Trade Center and Pentagon on 9/11/2001? Are you not aware that the attack on the USS Liberty was intentionally conducted by military forces from the state of Israel? There are other documented instances of 'false-flag' attacks by the Mossad and the state of Israel on American targets. Perhaps some of the other Columbia graduates (Mr. Zakheim - C'70 and others) can educate you with the details.

Beyond that, your discourteous treatment of the President of Iran during a recent visit to Columbia was a great embarrassment to all graduates of Columbia. You should be ashamed and apologize to the President of Iran for your rude and unstatesmanlike behavior!

I ask you to remember that not all graduates of Columbia (and other equally respected institutions of Higher Education) share your racist attitudes. Neturei Karta Jews equate Zionism with Nazism and they pray for the elimination of the rogue state of Israel by a Higher Authority. I agree with their assessment of Zionism and I pray with them!

Time will tell whether or not Mr. Obama's past association with Columbia will be a credit to him and to Columbia. Let's just wait and SEE! before jumping up and down with 'irrational exuberance', shall we?!
